Two yacht charter proposals that appear similar may cover different services. Fuel or meals may be included in one and charged separately in another. Set your dates, duration and guest count before you begin comparing.
Duration and boat features
A day charter and an overnight journey have different requirements. Cabin numbers, living spaces, equipment and service arrangements affect the options. Check whether a stated capacity applies to daytime use or overnight stays. A larger boat is not necessarily a better fit for every group.
Ask for an itemised breakdown
Request separate explanations for yacht use, crew, fuel, meals, drinks, port charges and transfers. Find out how extra hours or route changes are charged. Where an additional spending budget applies, clarify how it is used and settled at the end of the trip.
Cancellation and changes
Compare the payment schedule and cancellation conditions alongside the total price. Ask in writing what happens if weather changes the programme. Do not treat an example price online as confirmed availability or a binding proposal.
